A new FieldSENSE Personal RF monitor, the FieldSENSE 60, is now available from Maser Communications alongside the popular FieldSENSE 2.0 with its proven track-record of ensuring on-site employee safety.

The FieldSENSE 60 retains all the benefits of the FieldSENSE 2.0 – compact size & weight, rugged IP64 enclosure and long battery life from two everyday AAA batteries, but it is also 5G ready.

The new FieldSENSE 60 with its increased frequency range of 60GHz also covers all the new 5G Broadcast frequencies.

FieldSENSE 2.0

The FieldSENSE 2.0 is the Personal RF Monitors specifically designed for protecting personnel working near broadcast and telecommunications transmitting antennas from EMF/RF overexposure.

The FieldSENSE 2.0 measures both E and H fields spanning from 50MHz to 6 GHz with an isotropic probe architecture.  The probe response is shaped to internationally accepted exposure safety limits and is designed for both body worn, handheld or remote monitoring applications.

In order to accurately assess a given exposure situation, both H and E fields are measured.

The exposure limits, such as the FCC (NCRP), SC6 or ICNIRP are ALL shaped over frequency and as such PPE must also have a shaped probe response to accurately measure in accordance with it.

The FieldSENSE 2.0 has a total of 6 orthogonal E & H field probes to ensure that the combination of all sources of radiation from all angles are correctly measured and assessed in accordance with the safety limits.

The Site Master S331E is a handheld cable and antenna analyzer designed to make Return Loss, VSWR, Cable Loss, and Distance-To-Fault (DTF) measurements in the field. The cable and antenna analyzer also includes 1-port phase and smith chart measurements.
